No train at the terminal
The limousine to Kumamoto Station is stand 4, about 65 minutes and ¥1,400. The Higo-Ozu liner is ¥200, not free.
Domestic and international share the 2023 terminal
Lounge ASO is in the domestic departure hold. You cannot use it after exit immigration.
The doors open at 6:30
Entry before 6:30 is refused. Airfield hours in the use rules are 7:30–21:30.

Wind can close the only road
Mishima Ohashi can close at 25 m/s. The September 2026 Dejima Road bus is about 46 minutes to Nagasaki Station.
One building, three floors
Arrivals and check-in are on 1F, gates on 2F, and the observation deck on 3F. The building closes at 22:00.
Local kitchens, early close
Champon, sushi, and curry are in the terminal. Most restaurants stop taking orders by 20:00–20:30. Starbucks is open 7:00–20:00.
KMJ · Aso Kumamoto is a single-terminal civil airport in Mashiki with a March 2023 building, a 3,000 m runway, and scheduled flights to Korea and Taiwan. There is no rail at the door, and the only airside lounge is on the domestic side of immigration.
NGS · A compact sea airport in Omura Bay with a simple three-floor terminal and a real bus to the city, held back by a wind-sensitive bridge and almost no international flying in September 2026.
