1.Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and the operator of HonestAirport (“HonestAirport”, “we”, “us”) covering the website at honestairport.com, its markdown and API endpoints, the remote MCP server, and the HonestAirport Members subscription (together, the “Service”).
By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service and at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a membership.

2.What HonestAirport is
HonestAirport publishes airport guides, Airportist Scores, lounge directories, ground-transport notes, and traveler tips. Parts of the Service are free; other parts (additional airport tabs, individual lounge pages, and paid markdown endpoints) are reserved for members. Which parts are free or paid can change; the current split is described on the Members page.
Guides are researched and drafted with the help of automated tools and then published as editorial content. Airportist Scores are our opinion. Live data such as delay signals, weather, or security wait estimates comes from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Nothing on the Service is travel, legal, or safety advice. Always confirm terminals, opening hours, security rules, and operational alerts with the airport, your airline, and government sources before you rely on them.
3.Accounts
You can browse most of the Service without an account. An account is needed to post reviews, create personal access tokens, and link a Whop membership to your login. You can sign up with an email address and password or, where offered, with GitHub or Apple.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password and tokens confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account until you tell us it has been compromised.
- One person per account. Do not share or sell accounts.
You can delete your account or ask us to delete it by contacting us (see Contact).
4.HonestAirport Members
HonestAirport Members is a recurring subscription priced at $8 per month (plus any applicable taxes). It unlocks the member-only parts of the Service and includes access to the existing Members community hosted on Whop. Two rules up front: cancel anytime and no refunds. Details below.
Whop handles billing. Checkout, payment processing, renewals, invoices, payment-method storage, and cancellation are provided by Whop, Inc. under Whop’s terms. We never see or store your card details. When you buy a membership, Whop tells us who you are (your Whop user ID and receipt ID) so we can unlock access; we do not receive your payment credentials.
- Renewal. The membership renews monthly until you cancel. Whop charges the payment method on file at each renewal.
- Cancel anytime. Cancel from your Whop account whenever you like. Whop stops the renewals; the current month you already paid for runs to its end and access stops then. Cancelling does not delete your HonestAirport account.
- No refunds. Membership payments are not refunded, in full or in part. This includes months you did not use, forgetting to cancel before a renewal, and cancelling mid-month. If you do not want to be charged again, cancel before the renewal date. Where the law where you live gives you a right that cannot be waived, that right still applies.
- Price changes. If the price changes, the new price applies from your next renewal after we have given you notice through Whop or the Service.
- Restoring access. Member access is tied to the browser you completed checkout in and, if you are signed in, to your account. You can restore it with your Whop receipt ID on the Members page.
Membership is personal. Sharing member-only content, sessions, or receipt IDs to give others access is not allowed.
5.Personal access tokens, API, and MCP
Signed-in users can generate a personal access token in Settings. The token authenticates requests to the REST API under /api/v1 and to the remote MCP server at /mcp. Only a hash of the token is stored; if you lose it, regenerate it and update your tools.
- Tokens are for your own use, including by agents and tools you operate. Do not share them or embed them in public code.
- Member-only endpoints stay member-only when accessed by token. Some endpoints may alternatively accept per-request machine payments (x402) where that is enabled.
- We may rate-limit, throttle, or revoke tokens to protect the Service, and we may change or retire endpoints with reasonable notice where practical.
- Bulk copying the Service’s content through the API, MCP, or scraping to build a competing dataset or product is not permitted without our written agreement.
6.Reviews and photos you post
Where review posting is available to you, you keep ownership of the text and photos you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example re-encoding or resizing images), display, and distribute that content as part of operating and promoting the Service, including in the markdown and API representations of the pages it appears on. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies that already exist in backups or in third-party caches.
You confirm that anything you post:
- is your own work or you have the right to publish it;
- reflects your genuine experience and is not paid for or fake;
- does not contain other people’s personal data, private information, or identifiable faces without their permission;
- is not unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or infringing.
Uploaded photos are re-encoded before publication and embedded metadata (including GPS location) is removed from the published copies. We may edit, move, or remove content that breaks these Terms or that we consider inappropriate, and we may decline to publish anything at our discretion.
7.Acceptable use
Do not:
- break, probe, or overload the Service, or bypass the membership gate, rate limits, or authentication;
- use automated means to access the Service other than through the documented API and MCP endpoints, public markdown, sitemaps, and ordinary search-engine crawling;
- impersonate anyone, misrepresent your affiliation, or post content on behalf of an airport, airline, or lounge operator without disclosing it;
- resell, sublicense, or systematically redistribute our content, scores, or data;
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law.
8.Third-party services and affiliate links
The Service links to third-party websites and apps, including airports, airlines, lounge operators, ride-hailing and airport transfer providers, and Whop. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for them.
Some ground-transport links are affiliate links. If you book a ride or transfer through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence Airportist Scores or editorial content.
9.Intellectual property
The Service, including its guides, scores, design, software, and the HonestAirport and Airportist names, belongs to us or our licensors. You may view and, for personal, non-commercial purposes, quote short excerpts with a link back to the page. Airport photographs are credited to their authors and licensed as stated next to each image; those licences, not these Terms, govern their reuse.
10.Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. Airport conditions change constantly; we do not guarantee that any guide, score, lounge listing, or live signal is current or correct.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, missed flights, travel costs, or lost data arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the membership fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
11.Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts, revoke tokens, or remove content that breaches these Terms or creates risk for the Service or other users. Where reasonable we will tell you why. Closing an account for a breach does not entitle you to a refund. If we shut the Service down or drop your membership for reasons that are not your fault, we will cancel the Whop subscription so you are not charged again. You can stop using the Service at any time.
12.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. For material changes we will give notice on the Service or by email where we have one. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of TODO: governing law and venue, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts there. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
14.Contact
