Terminal navigation guide

Terminal-change and gate-area notes pulled from the markdown guide.

From Terminals & Navigation

Treat OSY as one compact terminal: landside check-in / arrivals, then a single security filter into the airside hold.
Walking distances are short; there is no airside train and no multi-terminal transfer. Still re-check screens when weather moves times.
Handling contact published on the contact page: Widerøe Ground Handling (+47 41 70 64 50). Widerøe Cargo: +47 09899.
Car hire desks listed on the car-rental page: Avis (482 10 500) and Hertz (74 20 90 00).
Common mistakes: expecting a Priority Pass lounge, assuming a named airside café exists, inventing a high-frequency flybuss, arriving on Saturday, or confusing OSY with Rørvik / Røst / Røros.

Ground transport guide

City-transfer, rideshare, train, and parking guidance from the markdown guide.

From Ground Transport & Parking

Town transfer — about 4 km by road into Namsos town centre from Høknesøra. There is no rail station at the airport. Norwegian Wikipedia notes the road Namsos–Værnes is about 165 km, which is why many Namdal travellers still drive to TRD for denser schedules.
Bus — Avinor does not currently publish a dedicated Namsos flybuss / to-and-from page (404). Entur stop Namsos lufthavn (NSR:StopPlace:62372) exists; live calls often include local bus 695 (Namsos–Grong) toward Namsos skysstasjon — treat as sparse local transit to verify, not as a bank-synced airport coach.
Taxi — practical default for the short hop into Namsos; Avinor has no Namsos-specific taxi phone page at research time — use local taxi apps/directories or ask at the desk during published terminal hours.
Parking — OnePark campus; pre-book or drive in; desk 64 81 19 80 / 24/7. Drop-in prices are published on the Avinor drop-in parking page (see Amenities).
Car hire — Avis (482 10 500) and Hertz (74 20 90 00) on the Avinor car-rental page; hours follow the flight programme.

Airport taxi

Practical default for Namsos (~4 km by road). Avinor has no Namsos-specific taxi phone page at research time — use local taxi services during published terminal hours.

Time to city

~10–15 min into Namsos (distance ~4 km)

Cost

Meter / quoted fare (ask before departure)

Tip: Ask the fare before bags go in. Available during published terminal opening hours — not on Saturdays per the contact page.

Cheapest

Local bus 695 (Entur — verify live)

Avinor does not publish a dedicated Namsos flybuss page. Entur stop Namsos lufthavn (NSR:StopPlace:62372) often lists AtB/local line 695 toward Namsos skysstasjon / Grong — treat as sparse must-verify-live transit, not a guaranteed coach.

Time to city

Often ~10–20 min to Namsos skysstasjon when a departure exists

Cost

See Entur live fares if a departure exists

Tip: Do not exit assuming a bank coach — check Entur before you wait in the rain.

OnePark on-airport parking

OnePark-operated campus; pre-book via Avinor parking or drop in; 24/7 desk 64 81 19 80.

Walk to terminal

Cost

See Avinor / OnePark rates / pre-book

Tip: Pre-book summer Namdal peaks rather than assuming endless walk-up bays. Drop-in: free 20 min, 27 kr/30 min, 199/24 h, 675/week(8 days).
