GRZ is walkable and calm most mornings, then compresses when Eurowings / LH Group banks and Mediterranean charter waves stack. Security is classic 100 ml with limited lanes — build more buffer than the building size suggests on peak summer Saturdays and school-holiday departures. Styrian fog / low cloud plus a single paved runway can ripple delays even when the hall looks empty. CAT II/III on 34C helps arrivals in poor visibility; it does not create spare runway capacity.

Walk ~300–500 m (covered) to Flughafen Graz-Feldkirchen for S-Bahn S1 to Graz Hbf (~12–15 min). Bus 630 stops at the terminal curb toward Puntigam / Zentralfriedhof for tram 5. Verbund Zone 101 Stundenkarte from 1 Jul 2026: €3.30 adult. Graz Card / valid city tickets cover the airport when they include Zone 101. Taxi is convenient with luggage; centre often ~15–25 minutes.
