TRD · Compact Mid-Norway Avinor gateway with a train station ~190 m from check-in and flight-timed coaches — excellent ground links undermined by no passenger lounge and classic single-runway winter risk. Avinor’s 2025 file: 4,109,876 terminal passengers including offshore (4,174,172 with transfer/transit).
RRS · A compact, lounge-free Avinor highland field on Stormoen for Røros — no named café on Avinor’s shopping list, Saturday terminal closure on the contact page, taxi (Entur stop exists but often shows no live buses) instead of a published flybuss, and DAT’s Oslo PSO as the scheduled lifeline on a longer 13/31 asphalt strip than Norway’s STOL ports.

Train downstairs beats guessing the coach — still pad OSL banks
Compact terminal; single-runway weather and TRD–OSL connections are the real delay modes.
Terminal A domestic, Terminal B international — one check-in block
Shared landside check-in in Terminal A; domestic vs international split after security.
Eat airside from Avinor’s named outlets — or wait for town
Solid named F&B (Herfra, Haven, O’Learys, Fly Chicken); town food still beats a long hold.

Saturday is closed — and hours are flight-bank windows, not a day lounge
Tiny terminal; Saturday closure plus flight-tied opening bands and highland weather are the planning constraints — pad OSL connections.
One compact passenger building on Stormoen — opened 1957
Single fixed-wing terminal; no named airside shop on the current Avinor directory; walking distances are short.
No named Avinor shop — eat in Røros or on the aircraft
Avinor’s shopping page lists no café or kiosk; treat F&B as unreliable and eat in town or onboard.
