OSL · Walkable single-terminal hub with trains under the building and usually-fast security, undercut by Norway-level prices and no Priority Pass lounge.
TRF · Norway’s largest privately owned commercial airport: a compact single-terminal Vestfold gateway that doubles as Oslo’s low-cost alternate, with strong Vy rail + Torp-Ekspressen links, free Wi-Fi/water and Fast Track for sale, but no passenger lounge and overnight terminal closure.

Vy trains are back; security is still quick
Vy says the train-drivers' strike ended 17 Oct 2026 and trains run again. Flytoget is the fast option; a Vy train is the cheaper one. Check the operator before you leave.
Read the gate letter before you shop
A–C are domestic, D–E Schengen international, F is non-Schengen after passport control. Sitting near A with an F boarding pass is the classic miss.
Eat at BIT Union or Trattoria Tavolare — skip lounge soup
Fiskeriet is gone from Avinor's shopping list. BIT Union (domestic A8 plus international) and Trattoria Tavolare (domestic A2 plus between D1–E2) are the honest sit-down plan.

Closed overnight — and Oslo is still ~90 minutes away
Compact terminal; overnight closure and a single runway are the real schedule constraints — pad Oslo connections.
One hall — domestic vs international after security
Single terminal; split domestic/international after security; desk hours follow the flight programme.
Point + Ymse + Upper Crust — choice thins with the programme
Pizzabakeren landside; Ymse / Upper Crust / Point airside; Duty Free on international flows — not a 24/7 mall.
