Fewer flights until late March
Ordu Gazete on 22 October 2026 printed the winter plan through the last week of March: Turkish Airlines 17 Istanbul flights a week, AJet 18, Pegasus 13, AJet 10 to Ankara, Izmir on two days a week, and SunExpress Düsseldorf only at intervals.
Domestic and international share the hall
Twenty check-in desks serve both sides. There are three domestic departure gates and two international gates, with X-ray at the main entrance and again at the sterile-hall doors.
Eat before you go through
DHMI lists a buffet, a restaurant, and a cafe in the terminal. No named vendor, menu, or price is published, and no public lounge covers a meal.

THY 2 h / 3 h — Pegasus desks die at 60 minutes
Plan Turkish Airlines’ own 2-hour domestic / 3-hour international buffer; Pegasus TZX check-in is a hard 60-minute close on web, mobile, and the airport desk.
Domestic and international are separate halls — match the curb
Drop at the hall on the boarding pass. The domestic CIP is useless once you have cleared into international, and there is no airside walk between the two.
Eat in the domestic hall — do not expect a hub food court
Simit, coffee, and café kiosks sit in the domestic landside/airside hall; international holds are thinner. The CIP is the only sit-down product if you already have Miles&Smiles access.
OGU · A single civilian Black Sea terminal with a real but thin international schedule, no public lounge, and a bus or taxi ride into Ordu or Giresun.
TZX · Compact Black Sea DHMİ field 7 km from town: 3.87 million passengers in 2025, a new international arrivals hall from 27 August 2024, no Priority Pass, and a single 2,640 m runway that cannot grow.
