Drop at the hall on the boarding pass. The domestic CIP is useless once you have cleared into international, and there is no airside walk between the two.

Domestic is the glass İç Hatlar Terminali. International arrivals moved into a new 3,077 m² hall on 27 August 2024 with an 860 m² CIP building; leftover “one terminal does everything” is stale. The replacement airport north of here is a plan, not a live door. Wrong-terminal taxis are the first-timer tax.

Simit, coffee, and café kiosks sit in the domestic landside/airside hall; international holds are thinner. The CIP is the only sit-down product if you already have Miles&Smiles access.

October 2022 terminal photos show Simit Sarayı / simit kiosks on the mezzanine and Çakra café/pastry airside — treat names as leftover-2022, confirm the unit on the day. There is no confirmed McDonald’s or Starbucks map. No Priority Pass food lounge. Buy a sealed bottle before security; DHMİ has not published a fountain list for TZX (a leftover “Trabzon sebili” item is actually Malatya).

Official taxi rank and HAVAŞ are the honest doors. Municipal buses run on the Trabzon–Rize coastal road next to the field; they are not a terminal-forecourt product.

DHMİ: 7 km to the city. Trabzon Büyükşehir taxi tariff from 1 April 2026: flag ₺71.50, ₺58.50/km for the first 5 km, ₺49.40/km after, minimum ₺208. HAVAŞ city and Rize sheets live as DHMİ downloads; call 0850 222 0 487 rather than sitting leftover ₺190/₺270/₺320 aggregator fares. Uber in Trabzon is Taxi, not UberX. Parking: ₺90 first hour / ₺280 per 12–24 h (DHMİ 2026 group A).
