CATSA

One checkpoint — no U.S. cutoff

Everyone uses the single CATSA PBS. There is no 16:30 CBP trap here because there is no preclearance.

Official airport pages do not print CATSA clock hours. CATSA itself recommends two hours for domestic and three hours for U.S. and international. Live PBS waits post on catsa-acsta.gc.ca (0–5 min in this research window). NEXUS uses Verified Traveller when the checkpoint is open.

Layout

Bags and taxis down, holdroom up

One two-level passenger hall. Ticketing and arrivals on the main floor; CATSA and the holdroom on level 2; Quiet Room on 3.

Play areas sit outside the level-1 food court and in the departures lounge by Gates 10 and 11. The Maple Leaf Lounge is upstairs from Gate 10. Wrong-level panic is the usual first-timer mistake, not a second terminal.

Eat

Yellowbelly after CATSA — Pizza Shed never sleeps

Airside sit-down is Yellowbelly Brewery. Landside Tim Hortons plus a 24-hour Pizza Shed vending kiosk.

Live official hours on 12 Sep 2026: Yellowbelly Mon–Fri 03:30–19:30, Sat–Sun 04:30–19:30. Level-2 Tim Hortons 03:30–19:00. O’Reilly’s Mon–Fri 11:00–17:30, closed Saturday–Sunday. The 2025 annual report opened Mamacita near Gate 6; the live hours card today does not list it.

Lounge

Maple Leaf is real — Priority Pass is not

One open passenger lounge. Air Canada / Star Alliance eligibility or a listed cobrand / Chase Sapphire Reserve. No PP room.

Hours follow the Air Canada schedule — confirm on the lounge selector. Advance paid access exists on some AC fares (cannot buy at the airport on the day). Do not invent The Club YYT, Escape, or an Aspire lounge.
