New terminal ≠ skip CIQ or DigiYatra buffers that do not exist here.

TRZ’s June 2024 integrated terminal is easier to read than the 2009 shell, but the field remains a single 2,423 m runway with international-heavy banks (Singapore / Kuala Lumpur / Colombo / Gulf) and no DigiYatra. FTI-TTP e-gates help only enrolled Indian / OCI travellers (ftittp.mha.gov.in; inaugurated 11 Sep 2025). Domestic ~2 hours early / international ~3 hours early remain the sane defaults.

Single 2024 passenger hall; pick the correct domestic / international SHA.

Screenshot TRZ ≠ MAA ≠ CJB ≠ IXM before the car leaves Tiruchi / Thanjavur / Karur / Pudukkottai. All scheduled passengers use the 75,000 m² hall that opened for ops on 11 June 2024. Domestic and international processing streams share the building but split after security — the two O'Vetra rooms are not a sterile hop from each other. Old-terminal blogs are not today’s check-in map.

Landside bottles beat airside pricing; live PP/LK/DP = two O'Vetra rooms only.

Buy sealed water and snacks landside before CISF; airside café markup is the usual Indian-airport tax and no public shelf price is posted. Live Priority Pass / LoungeKey / DragonPass soft rooms are the two O'Vetra pins only — domestic alcohol is extra on PP/LK; international soft drinks are complimentary on PP. Ignore Plaza Premium inventions from aggregator mirrors.

Short road hop into Tiruchi; metro is not at the kerb.

Use official prepaid taxi counters in arrivals or signed Ola / Uber pickup for the NH-336 run into central Tiruchirappalli (often 15–30 minutes; confirm the board / app quote). AIP lists taxis from the aerodrome. TNSTC buses help in daylight toward Central Bus Stand when signed. Junction / Srirangam / Golden Rock are separate road transfers. Do not invent an in-terminal metro.
