A genuine 2023 hall with cheap landside food and a usable paid lounge, traded against no rail, a C-to-B shuffle for international, and S7-hub delay risk.
An editorial 0–10 score. The overall is exactly the weighted sum of six traveler categories — not a Google rating and not a poll.

Most important tips
A compact traveler cheat sheet for timing, terminals, food, and disruption checks.
S7 and most carriers close desks 40 minutes before departure; international passengers also walk the C-to-B gallery after the Sector C door.
Early check-in at Sector C desks 1–2 is 12 hours out and only for Aeroflot, Rossiya, Aurora, Alrosa and Yamal (from 26 May 2026). S7 accepts a phone QR boarding pass in Sector C — leftover 24-hour S7 desks were Terminal A in 2014.
The kerb door is Sector C. International passengers follow Sector B signs through the gallery; the old street door on B is closed.
Domestic stays in C (check-in floor 1, security up, gates on floor 3; Comfort lounge is down from Gate 6 to floor 2). Sector A is not a live scheduled-passenger hall. The four white 'turbine' columns are the landside landmark.
Magnit GO next to Sector C check-in is the cheap bottle and snack (coffee from 129 RUB, hot dog from 169 RUB in a July 2025 price check).
After security, Pelmenissimo 'Academic' dumplings were 310 RUB and Caffetino sold 0.5 L water at 85 RUB — versus 350 RUB at the Grey Wall Pass bar on floor 3 before screening. International airside is thinner: Chashka Kofe and Khamovniki.
S7 FLEX business, S7 Priority Gold/Platinum and oneworld business use the S7 lounge; everyone else pays or uses a listed Russian lounge network.
Comfort (domestic, showers, kids' corner) is the better paid room if you already hold DragonPass, Grey Wall, Every Lounge, Persona.aero or Golden Key. International walk-in is cheaper at the official 2,500 RUB desk than via Fast Track bundlers.

Register online, then ignore leftover Terminal A desk maps. Live check-in is Sector C floor 1; S7 has a dedicated island by the main door.

Tolmachevo Airport and the Novosibirsk city center
Compare prepaid private transfers to Novosibirsk — useful overnight, with luggage, or when you want a locked-in fare before you land.
Direct coach between Novosibirsk-Glavny (metro Garina-Mikhailovskogo) and the Sector C kerb.
Tip: 130 RUB plus 50 RUB per bag from 16 December 2024. Last useful airport trip about 22:30. Look for the 111E sign in the 'pocket' stop at Glavny, not the main kerb.
Official door-to-door taxi. Uber and Bolt do not operate in Russia.
Tip: Night and Akademgorodok runs are often 1,000 RUB and up. Ignore leftover 400–600 RUB blogs. Pickup is the Sector C facade.
Shuttle between Ob railway station and the airport, daily 06:00–23:00, timed with suburban trains.
Tip: Only useful if you are already on a west-side elektrichka. There is still no passenger walk from the Aeroflot halt.
Short stay was 15 minutes free then 400 RUB/hour as of May 2026; FAS ordered a reset on 1 September 2026.
Tip: Pay the live barrier price. May 2026 square works closed P1/P2 until 15 June 2026 — check which lots are open before you aim at the C doors.
About 60 seats, no showers. Official 2,500 RUB / 4 hours is the honest price; skip Fast Track bundles unless you need the lane.

Add a photoMagnit GO at Sector C check-in is the cheap snack (coffee from 129 RUB, July 2025). Podorozhnik, VLavashe and Buuzovar sit in the same hall.
Domestic Comfort has showers; the international room is a 2,500 RUB desk buy. S7 elites should skip both and use the S7 room.
SSID listed as TOLMACHEVO_FREE on the in-terminal hotel page (April 2026). Confirm the captive portal; do not use leftover Sochi SSID names.
Landside Sector C floor 1, 24/7, from 3,400 RUB / 4 hours (30 August 2026). No boarding pass needed.
Direct coach to Novosibirsk-Glavny / metro line 2, 130 RUB plus bag fee. No airport rail.
Two fountains in Sector C and one at Sector B gate 21. Comfort lounge also has a children's corner.
Every live passenger flow starts at the 2023 glass hall, including international.
Follow Sector B signs through the gallery after check-in. Drivers who still aim at the old B kerb dump you on the wrong facade.
One set of columns, one meeting point.
International adds a walk and a second control.
Magnit GO before screening, fountain or Caffetino after.
July 2025: Magnit coffee from 129 RUB; Caffetino water 85 RUB airside; Grey Wall Pass bar 350 RUB for 0.5 L on floor 3 before security.
You can eat cheaply without a lounge.
International airside choice is thin.
There is no metro station and no airport train.
111E is 130 RUB until late evening. After ~22:30 from the airport, budget a Yandex Go. Uber and Bolt do not operate in Russia.
The coach is simple if you start at Glavny.
Traffic on the Dimitrovsky Bridge can double the 45-minute timetable.
Do not assume Priority Pass will beep.
Comfort is the shower room; the international desk is the cheap walk-in. S7 Gold/Platinum should ignore both.
Documented 2,500 RUB official international tariff.
Aggregator PP lists disagree with the 2026 programme round-up.
Two fountains in Sector C plus one by boarding gate 21 in Sector B
Airport press service, 24 October 2025, after an FAS look at bottled-water prices. Best value once you are through screening.
Airside at the far end of the sterile hall, by the turn to the toilets
Cheapest documented sealed bottle after security. Confirm the till — Grey Wall Pass on floor 3 before screening was 350 RUB for the same size.
Landside next to the check-in island (opened 26 April 2023, 53 m²)
Buy a bottle before screening if you will drink it landside. Liquids over 100 ml will not pass security.
Inside Comfort (C floor 2) or the international business lounge (B floor 3)
Still water with a paid or status visit — the most reliable quality if you already have access.
