Terminal navigation guide

Terminal-change and gate-area notes pulled from the markdown guide.

From Terminals & Navigation

One passenger terminal. Bag drop for the main carrier is counters 8–16. There is no Ryanair help desk in the building; the airport points you to Ryanair's own site and customer service.
After security, the duty-free and travel-value shop is on the first floor. Duty-free tobacco and the duty-free regime are only for destinations outside the EU or to the Canary Islands. Trips inside the EU get travel-value prices instead.
Airside food the airport names: Café Tramezzini just after the shop, and Gate Bar Charly downstairs at Gate 10. Toilets are next to Tramezzini and opposite Gate 4 and Gate 10. The accessible toilet is opposite Gate 4.
Power outlets in departures are at Gate 10, opposite Gate 4, and at Gates 1–2. Free Wi-Fi uses the network name Airport Weeze WLAN in the terminal, at the gates, and in arrivals. The airport page does not print a password.
Liquids follow the usual European rule the airport restates: containers of at most 100 ml, all of them in one resealable bag of at most 1 litre, one bag per passenger, shown separately at security. Medicine, baby food, and special dietary food can be exceptions if you declare them.
The operator's aerodrome sheet dated 17 May 2021 places the reference point 3.7 km (2.0 NM) southwest of Weeze and 7.5 km (4.0 NM) northwest of Kevelaer, elevation 106 ft. That sheet's runway table was not in the text that could be extracted here, so this guide does not publish a runway length from it. Chart aggregators describe a single 09/27 strip of 2,440 × 45 m; treat that as a chart figure, not a sentence read from the current DFS AIP.

Ground transport guide

City-transfer, rideshare, train, and parking guidance from the markdown guide.

From Ground Transport & Parking

There is no airport railway station. The airport's rail page says Weeze station is about a 5-minute drive and Kevelaer station about 10 minutes. RE10 between Krefeld, Düsseldorf, Kevelaer, and Weeze is described as every 30 minutes during service hours. The same page still shows engineering work on RE10 from 22 May 2026 to 26 June 2026; that window had already ended by 24 September 2026.
Local buses stop in front of the terminal. The FAQ names SW1 to Weeze station, line 73 and SB46 to Kevelaer, SL 17 and SB46 to Goch, and SB46 to Nijmegen. It does not print a fare or a headway for SW1, line 73, or SL 17.
SB46, run by BVR (DB Regio Bus NRW), started on 6 April 2025 and runs every two hours. From Nijmegen Centraal the first bus is 02:40 and the last is 22:40, about 65 minutes to the airport, via Kranenburg and Goch, continuing to Kevelaer. The VRR tariff applies, so the Deutschlandticket is valid. The Dutch OV-chipkaart is not. The airport's April 2025 fare example for Weeze–Nijmegen starts at €11.88. Buy in the DB NRWay app or from the driver.
The direct coach to Düsseldorf is not that bus. Since 1 May 2024, Verhuven has linked Düsseldorf central bus station (ZOB, Worringer Straße, by the main station) with the airport. The airport's announcement says five trips each way a day, timed to flights, about 1 hour 15 minutes, €24 per person. First departure Düsseldorf 03:15; last departure from the airport 23:45. Book at airportweezeshuttle.com. The operator's own FAQ still shows €24 and a child fare of €12 up to and including age 14, says the Deutschlandticket is not valid, and says the driver takes cards only, not cash. The airport article only says leftover seats can be bought from the driver.
Every car pays €4 at the entrance barrier. That €4 covers the first hour on P Terminal, P1, P2, and P3, including drop-off and pick-up. About 7,000 spaces sit near the terminal and are not guarded. The airport says to allow about 10 minutes to walk in from the car park. Walk-up prices from 1 July 2025, on top of the €4, for one day (24 hours) are €50 on P Terminal, €25 on P1, €20 on P2, and €17 on P3. Seven days on the same card are €200, €99, €79, and €69, still plus €4. P2 has a 2.30 m height limit. Pay at machines in the terminal or on the lots. The German page lists cash, Visa, and Mastercard; the English page also lists EC/Maestro.
The German and English parking pages still say a space cannot be reserved in advance. The Dutch tariff page says a reservation means you pay nothing at the barrier, and that if the online quota is sold out you can still drive in, pay the €4, take a ticket, and pay the rest at a machine after the trip. The homepage has a booking widget and warns that the online quota sometimes sells out. Do not treat those sentences as one rule.
Four chargers of up to 22 kW are on P Terminal. Six fast chargers of up to 300 kW are on the left side of the terminal access road. Disabled bays are in the first row of P Terminal; leave a disability card marked aG, H, or BL on the dashboard, then use the help button at a pay machine on the way out to get the P3 rate.
The directory coordinate is 51.603101, 6.141343. Great-circle distance from that pin is about 56 km to Düsseldorf Airport and about 61 km to the Düsseldorf city pin. Those are not road distances, and they are not the figures used in the 2016 naming dispute. Taxi and rideshare fares are not published by the airport. Uber and Bolt both appear for Germany in this site's country map; confirm a car in the app before you rely on one.

Verhuven coach to Düsseldorf

Direct coach between the airport and Düsseldorf ZOB at the main station, run by Verhuven since 1 May 2024.

Time to city

About 1 hour 15 minutes

Cost

€24 per person; child €12 on the operator FAQ

Tip: The airport announcement says five trips each way, first from Düsseldorf at 03:15 and last from the airport at 23:45. The Deutschlandticket is not valid. The operator FAQ says the driver takes cards, not cash.

Cheapest

SB46 to Nijmegen

BVR express bus every two hours via Goch and Kranenburg, stopping in front of the terminal.

Time to city

About 65 minutes to Nijmegen Centraal

Cost

Deutschlandticket, or from €11.88 (April 2025)

Tip: First bus from Nijmegen is 02:40 and the last is 22:40. The Dutch OV-chipkaart does not work. SW1, line 73, and SL 17 serve the German stations, without a fare printed on the airport FAQ.

P3 long stay

Unguarded lots next to the terminal. P3 is the cheapest published daily rate.

Time to city

About 10 minutes on foot to the terminal

Cost

€4 barrier plus €17 per day on P3

Tip: The €4 already includes the first hour on P Terminal, P1, P2, and P3, so a drop-off that stays under an hour should not add a parking charge. P2 is limited to 2.30 m high. The German pages disagree with the Dutch page about whether you can reserve ahead.

Uber or Bolt

The airport does not publish a taxi rank fare or a rideshare price. Uber and Bolt are the apps this site shows for Germany.
