Merseytravel’s airport page (archived Dec 2024 timetable snapshot still matches the live structure) lists Arriva 500 Liverpool ONE ↔ airport about every 30 minutes (~40 minutes) from early morning to after midnight, plus frequent 86A and half-hourly 80A from Liverpool ONE, and ~15–17 minute 86A/80A links from Liverpool South Parkway for Merseyrail / national rail connections. Confirm live times and fares in Merseytravel or Arriva apps — do not assume the England single-fare cap covers every airport product without checking. Private-hire must use car parks; the official hackney rank sits outside the terminal with published city-centre estimate bands (e.g. Mon 06:00–Thu 21:00 about £27 before the airport toll — airport Transport article).

Airport Preparing for Security (May 2026) says Next Generation lanes let you leave liquids (max 100 ml per container) and large electronics in your cabin bag with no clear plastic bag, and currently no numeric cap on how many 100 ml containers as long as they fit in the bag. Empty pockets fully before the body scanner. Fast Track is sold at £6.00 adult when open (0–1 free; older children priced as adult) but the Fast Track help article (updated Sep 2026) states it is temporarily unavailable during security works — check the booking page before you pay. Aim to arrive ~2 hours before departure regardless.

Aspire upper level after Duty Free; PP + paid; confirm 04:00 vs 03:30 open.

Walk through World Duty Free after security, then up to the upper-level Aspire Lounge (Swissport). Airport Aspire article (May 2026): open 04:00–20:00 daily with hot breakfast until ~11:00 then deli/hot dishes, soft drinks and standard spirits included; premium pours extra. Priority Pass lists the same location, max stay 3 hours, smart-casual (no football shirts), children under 2 free, and recommends pre-booking. PP hours may still show 03:30 open until the published 1 Nov 2026 change to 04:00 — trust the desk/app on the day. PP Eat credit also covers Sable & Co (03:00–20:00 on Priority Pass). Lounge booking does not include Fast Track.

Airport Picking Up & Dropping Off (July 2025 tariffs on the help centre): Express Drop Off & Pick Up opposite the terminal — up to 10 minutes £6, 20 minutes £10, 1 hour £25, 24 hours £50. Drop Off 2 is a short walk away with up to 20 minutes free once every two hours, then £8 to 1 hour / £20 to 2 hours. Local reporting (Liverpool Echo) said the Express 10-minute minimum would rise to £7 from 1 September 2026 — confirm the barrier tariff on the day if the help article still shows £6. Twilight bag-drop (Jet2 / easyJet / Ryanair night-before windows) includes 1 hour free in Drop Off 2 with an exit ticket from check-in.
