The international lounge Maple is closed from 17 August 2026 through 28 February 2027 for the terminal expansion. China Airlines, China Eastern, and VietJet passengers can collect a shopping voucher at check-in. Air China is named on that notice and is marked suspended.

Domestic YAMANAMI VILLA, after security on level 3, is ¥1,760, or free with a listed Japanese gold or platinum card and a same-name boarding pass. It is not a Priority Pass, LoungeKey, or DragonPass lounge.

Free Wi-Fi is SSID Hiroshima Free Wi-Fi on levels 1 through 3. Each session lasts one hour, with no session cap, and the link is not encrypted.

There is no airport railway. The limousine to Hiroshima Station's Shinkansen gate is 45 to 50 minutes and ¥1,500 one way. The same round-trip ticket also works from Hiroshima Bus Center.

Domestic PSFC is ¥340 for an adult and ¥170 for a child on tickets issued from 7 January 2025. International departing PSSC is ¥400 for an adult or a child on tickets issued from 1 October 2024.

International liquids follow the Japan rule: containers of 100 ml or less, in one resealable clear bag of 1 litre or less. The airport FAQ states that rule for international departures.

Spring Japan's Narita flight on the 1 September–12 October 2026 sheet runs only on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and only through 12 October 2026. Immigration for a Narita connection is at Narita, not here.

Fog is common at 330 m elevation. CAT-III autoland on the runway 10 approach needs a runway visual range of at least 100 m, plus a suitably equipped aircraft and crew. Runway 28 has no ILS.

Do not plan on Maple

The international lounge is closed through 28 February 2027.

During the closure, China Airlines, China Eastern, and VietJet issue a shopping voucher at check-in. The lounge is not a credit-card lounge when it is open, and the published walk-up price is ¥1,980.

There is no international lounge seat until the renovation ends.

TransportTraveler Tips & Hacks

Buy the round-trip if you are coming back

¥2,620 covers Hiroshima Station or the Bus Center for seven days.

Two one-way tickets are ¥3,000. The round-trip ticket is interchangeable between the Shinkansen gate and Hiroshima Bus Center. Buses are free seating and cannot be reserved. IC cards work, but the airport has no IC charge machine.

Pro

Saves ¥380 and you can return from either city stop.

Watch-out

The ride is still 45–55 minutes, and highway traffic can add more.

Fog hits the east approach harder

CAT-III is on runway 10 only.

The airport sits at about 330 m and says fog is common. Autoland needs a runway visual range of at least 100 m, CAT-III equipment, and a qualified crew. Landings from the east, on runway 28, are visual at the end and are more likely to divert.

Use Parking 2 if you are leaving the car

¥100 an hour and an ¥800 cap per 24 hours, every day.

The main lot jumps to ¥1,600 per 24 hours on Fridays, weekends, holidays, and the long holiday periods. The first 30 minutes are free in both lots. Cars taller than 2.4 m have to use Masahiro Parking.

Overnight parking is cheaper than many Japanese city airports.

Watch-out

You still need a car. There is no train at the door.
