AMT Volabus is the direct coach from Arrivals to Piazza Verdi (Brignole) via Principe in about 30 minutes. The ticket is Met Daily (€10 / 24h from validation; free under 1.15 m), valid across the AMT urban/provincial network including Volabus, Navebus, Genova–Casella, and line 782 to Portofino — buy contactless on board (ILA), at the AMT machine in the terminal, app/online, or AMT offices. For Liguria rail, ride the free-with- ordinary-ticket Airlink shuttle (~5 min, every ~15 min 06:00–22:00) to Genova Sestri Ponente Aeroporto, or buy Trenitalia to/from “Genova Aeroporto C. Colombo” so the shuttle is bundled. Fixed taxi is €25 to the centre (€30 beyond the 4th passenger; +€2 night/holiday).

March 2025 east-wing security uses latest automated / 3D CT lanes: you may leave ≤100 ml liquids, laptops and large electronics in the cabin bag. Airport and ENAC wording is explicit that a >100 ml liquids waiver is waiting on additional European software certification — until then GOA still enforces classic 100 ml / 1 L clear-bag rules. Family Lane / Fast Track accepts pushchairs and children under 6 (max two accompanying adults). Build ~2 hours for leisure Schengen banks while check-in halls are rebuilt through 2026.

The airport sells Genova Lounge access at the landside ticket desk (biglietteria). The 2026 Service Charter describes a new airside Genova Lounge after security with apron/sea views as part of the 2025–2026 terminal rebuild — expect relocated doors, limited F&B, or temporary closures while works run. An MSC lounge is listed on the upper departures floor (cruise/MSC flows — not a general Priority Pass room). Argos Vip sits on arrivals for GA/meet-and-assist. Priority Pass / LoungeKey do not publish a reliable GOA contract lounge — do not plan on PP here.
Pack an empty bottle; buy sealed water as backup.
Service-charter passenger surveys mark free drinking-water dispenser satisfaction as N.A. — do not count on airside fountains. Bring an empty bottle through the 100 ml screen and ask café staff after security, or buy sealed water landside (Dolce e Salato) / airside at Caruggio Eat&Shop and duty free.
