Official airport guidance lists RVM S50 (express) and R51 from Münster Hauptbahnhof as the regular public links; there is no station under the terminal. Westfalenfahrplan shows a direct S50 Münster Hbf → Greven Flughafen in about 33 minutes; R51 is a direct but slower ~50-minute option. WestfalenTarif EinzelTicket is €9.50 adult / €5.10 child on this relation (Aug 2026 query). Deutschlandticket covers the bus. The former Osnabrück express (X150/X15/X52) is discontinued — from Osnabrück, rail to Münster (or Ibbenbüren) then S50, or a taxi/prebooked transfer.

No CT liquids waiver yet — plan the old unpack ritual through 2027.

FMO Security Services runs passenger and cabin-bag screening under Bezirksregierung supervision. Standard EU liquids still apply: ≤100 ml containers in one transparent 1 L bag, electronics out. The authority has started procurement of CT hand-baggage scanners, but local reporting (Antenne Münster / Bezirksregierung, Aug 2025) puts entry into service no earlier than 2027 — do not assume a liquids waiver. Airport and local press recommend arriving ~2.5 hours before departure; check-in desks open 2.5 hours before each flight. Non-EU destinations (Antalya, Pristina, London) can add Entry/Exit System border-control time.

Free for Lufthansa HON/Senator/Star Alliance Gold plus First/Business, Condor and Marabu Business (per FMO DE lounge page), Priority Pass, LoungeKey, Lounge Pass, and Diners Club. Walk-in €26 at the desk; Priority Pass max stay 4 hours, one child under 12 free per cardholder. Snacks, soft drinks, beer/wine/spirits, work desks, free FMO Wi-Fi. Late Antalya/leisure banks after 21:00 miss it — and airside shops only open from ~2 hours before each departure.

No free refill stations; stock up landside at Café Jetlag.

Independent German airport water surveys list FMO with no free passenger drinking fountains. Landside Café Jetlag sits in Terminal 2 by the check-in counters (public area) — buy bottles there before screening. Airside, smartseller’s “you are here” / Your Kitchen (duty-free + snacks, warm/cold drinks) opens from about 2 hours before each departure opposite the gates; prices are higher once you are through.
