One strip plus December 2026 SHA works still need real buffers; DigiYatra is domestic only.

DigiYatra can shrink domestic entry / CISF / boarding for enrolled Indian nationals when the e-gates are staffed (ToI: six entry gates, four security, nine boarding, one transfer). CJB remains a single-runway, single-terminal gateway with IndiGo-heavy banks and an interim hold-area expansion now due December 2026. Domestic ~2 hours early is the sane default; thin international banks (Scoot Singapore, Air Arabia Sharjah, IndiGo Abu Dhabi) want a full ~3 hours for check-in, CISF, and outbound immigration. Priority Pass / LoungeKey BlackBerry is 10:00–21:30; DragonPass lists 10:00–21:00 — useless for a 06:00 domestic push.

One building today; sector signs and the domestic BlackBerry pin still matter.

There is no T1/T2 campus hop. Domestic and international share the Peelamedu integrated terminal, but CIQ, gate clusters, and the live restaurant pin (domestic airside, 1st floor after SHA) do not. Screenshot CJB ≠ MAA ≠ TRZ before the car leaves. The ~+1,000 m² interim works (completion now December 2026) and the ~75,000 m² new terminal (NITI Aayog nod, Cabinet clearance still pending as of 16 Sep 2026) are capacity projects — trust live FIDS and airline SMS over expansion CGIs.

One restaurant pin with split programme hours; landside bottles beat unpublished airside tags.

Live product is BlackBerry Restaurant & Bar / Black Berry Lounge in domestic SHA on the 1st floor. Priority Pass and LoungeKey publish 10:00–21:30 with one set/pre-packed menu per 24 hours; DragonPass publishes 10:00–21:00 and free children under 6 (PP/LK: under 3). À la carte and alcohol are extra on PP/LK conditions; the restaurant may refuse when full. AAI Eat & Dine also lists Aero Café, Sri Krishna Sweets, Cookie Man, Tender Coconut and others in SHA, plus landside canopy snacks. Buy sealed water landside before CISF — bottle list prices are unpublished.

Short road hop; Junction is a separate transfer; car parking starts at ₹20 for 30 min.

Use the signed Kovai Airport Tourist Taxi prepaid counters in arrivals (AAI also lists a city-side counter) or a signed app-cab bay. TNSTC runs Airport–Gandhipuram. Coimbatore Junction is 9 km on the AAI transport page (AIP ARP 11 km from Coimbatore Railway Station) — there is no passenger rail or metro into the building. AAI parking in front of the terminal is 24h: car ₹20 / first 30 min, ₹55 to two hours, ₹10 per extra hour to seven, ₹165 overnight.
