July and August are the crush
August 2025 was the peak month at 513,708 passengers; February was the quietest at 307,418, which is still a full airport.
Departures are upstairs
Check-in, security, and outbound passport control are on the upper level. Arrivals, taxis, and car rental are on the ground floor.
Buy a bottle before security
A June 2026 terminal visit found no drinking fountain and priced a small bottle of water at about €1.50 in the public hall.

Desks close 30 minutes before departure
Check-in runs from 120 to 30 minutes before departure; aim to arrive 2 hours ahead.
One small terminal, no jet bridges
Check-in, bag-size control, passport control, security, then a walk or bus to the plane.
One bakery café airside
Coffe Cake Bakery between gates 4 and 5 is the main airside option.
PRN · A compact one-hall international field that moved 4.6 million people in 2025 — mostly diaspora traffic to Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Austria and the UK — with a two-hourly city bus, no rail, and a single DragonPass lounge.
TGD · Podgorica's single 2006 terminal is small, quick to navigate and close to the capital, but it is over capacity at summer peaks since the Wizz Air base opened, with no jet bridges, one airside café and only bookable VIP rooms instead of a card lounge.
