Matsuyama is a compact one-terminal national airport about 15 minutes from JR Matsuyama Station, with daily Seoul and Busan flights plus Taipei three days a week, and without a rail link or a published security wait.
Hiroshima Airport is a single-terminal civilian field in Mihara, about an hour by bus from Hiroshima Station. FY2025 traffic was 2.95 million passengers, including a record 480,341 on international flights. The international lounge is closed until 28 February 2027, and there is no airport railway.
