1.5 hours is enough
Check-in opens 2 hours before departure; the airport recommends arriving 1.5 hours ahead.
Passport check after security for non-Schengen flights
Non-Schengen flights (Turkey, Egypt) have a police ID check after security.
Two places to eat, before and after security
Belair (landside, runway view) and Grand Café De Horizon (airside).
LIL · Compact Hauts-de-France single-terminal field with a solid Flibco shuttle and clear taxi board — undercut by no Priority Pass lounge, classic 100 ml security, sparse evening bus 68 frequency, and a leisure-heavy low-cost mix.
OST · Ostend-Bruges International Airport is a small holiday and cargo airport on the Belgian coast, about 5 km southwest of Ostend. TUI fly Belgium is the only scheduled airline, with flights to Spain, the Canary Islands, Greece, Turkey and Egypt (13 destinations in summer 2026, fewer in winter), and the airport handled 404,076 passengers in 2025 (+15%). The single terminal is quick to use, with a landside brasserie overlooking the runway and a café after security. Parking is right outside, and De Lijn bus 60 stops at the door.
