Domestic CATSA is now one centralized CT checkpoint, but Concourse E preclearance is still the real U.S. bottleneck—do not copy a quiet domestic buffer onto a Denver or Chicago bank.

Official advice is 2–3 hours in busy periods. Aim ~90–120 minutes for straightforward domestic; add a dedicated CBP cushion for U.S. departures and more again for long-haul D-gate banks, especially summer peaks and Stampede week.

Pick the correct security product from your boarding pass. Concourse B is behind restoration hoarding until 2027. Elevation and the new A-gate Aspire are off-limits once you are sterile for E.

Domestic A/C and many D connections stay workable airside, but Concourse E sits behind U.S. preclearance. Wrong stream means exiting and re-clearing. B gates are not a passenger pier during hail restoration.

Landside is mostly a pass-through. D-gate dining (Vin Room, Chili’s) is denser than post-CBP E. If you need a real meal before a U.S. departure, eat before preclearance.

Named options on the official lounge page sit on D between Vin Room and Chili’s. Post-CBP E is a thinner food-court offer. Quiet Space near Gate A24 is seating, not a restaurant.

Priority Pass now includes Aspire Domestic on A plus Elevation, Aspire D, and Aspire E. DragonPass A10210 still lists only Elevation and the two older Aspire rooms. Maple Leaf is AC/Star only.

WestJet status still beats PP at Elevation when the room is full. Aspire Transborder closes 19:00. LoungeKey’s finder still showed a legacy Chinook name for the old A-gate room on 21 Sep 2026 — confirm in-app for the new Aspire Amex.
