Build buffer in Northern Lights season

Arrive 90 min before domestic and 2 h before international/charter flights Nov–Mar.

Morning SAS/Norwegian banks and winter tourism create sudden security and check-in queues; weather-related delays are common.

Terminal

One terminal, one security line

There are no terminal letters or airside trains — just follow gate numbers.

After security you are already close to every gate; allow 5–10 minutes max and re-check screens for last-minute gate changes.

Food

Eat landside or bring snacks

Airside options are limited to basic café/kiosk fare — plan accordingly for long waits.

If you want a proper meal, use the landside café or eat in Tromsø before heading out; late-evening flights have very thin choices.
