Seville, Spain · Europe
Andalusia’s capital gateway: compact single terminal, solid Azahar Priority Pass lounge, and a reliable EA bus — but no rail link and summer / Feria peaks still bite.

Most important tips
A compact traveler cheat sheet for timing, terminals, food, and disruption checks.
No rail — EA €6/€8 or fixed city taxi €26 day / €29 night–weekend.
There is no metro or Renfe stop under the terminal. Default public option is TUSSAM Línea EA (Especial Aeropuerto) between the terminal curb and Plaza de Armas, calling Santa Justa and other centre stops (~30–35′ typical). Live TUSSAM fares: univiaje €6; ida y vuelta €8 valid the day of purchase or the next day — buy at Arrivals desk (08:00–23:00), Arrivals machines, on board (cash / card / multiviaje), or TUSSAM’s mobile QR single. Ayuntamiento proposals in Aug 2026 would drop the return product later — until publication, the €6/€8 pair still applies. Official urban taxis use a closed airport fare inside Seville city: Tarifa 4 €26 (weekdays 07:00–21:00) and Tarifa 5 €29 (nights, weekends, holidays, Semana Santa / Feria windows per Aena) with no luggage supplement on that closed fare. Interurban destinations leave the closed fare and go onto interurban tariffs — ask before you load bags for towns outside the municipal area.
Classic 100 ml LAGs; Aena Fast Lane €11.10; buffer hard in Feria and summer peaks.
Pack classic EU LAG rules (≤100 ml containers in a clear 1-litre bag; electronics out when asked). SVQ has no published CT / ≤2 L liquids waiver on Aena passenger pages — treat it as classic. Single central security feeds the whole boarding hall. Buy Aena Fast Lane / Fast Track on serviciosvip.aena.es (live cart €11.10 for T1; 3-month validity; airline business / loyalty often includes it — confirm with your carrier). QR + boarding pass at the preferential door reader. Semana Santa, Feria de Abril, and summer UK/Italy leisure banks are when the paid lane pays for itself; quiet midweek Schengen afternoons are often fine without it. Aim ~2.5 hours early for non-Schengen / peak waves, ~2 hours for quiet Schengen.
One airside Azahar VIP (PP + €45.95 day pass); O’Learys is PP dining credit, not a lounge.
Sala VIP Azahar is the only proper lounge: airside boarding area on planta 1 / P1 after security (and passport control when your gate needs it). Priority Pass places it on Floor 1 / Boarding Area P1; traveler maps and Aena signage commonly put it near Gate 3. Aena ES hours: daily 06:00–22:00, with Tuesday and Friday listed until 00:00 — confirm the desk if you land late those nights. Priority Pass / LoungeKey-style cards accepted subject to capacity; Aena walk-in €45.95 adult / €21.25 child (3-month purchase validity; children 0–5 free on the VIP cart’s child rule). Stay limits conflict slightly across sources: Aena ES lounge page says max 3 hours pre-departure; serviciosvip purchase text and some EN pages say 4 hours — Priority Pass typically lists ~3 hours for members / longer for transit — confirm desk / app on the day. Aena lists catering, special diets, gluten-free options, work areas, Wi-Fi, PRM access and animals allowed — no showers on the amenity list. Priority Pass also lists O’Learys as an Eat / dining-credit venue airside — sports-bar restaurant credit, not a lounge; confirm live hours and euro credit in the Priority Pass app.
Free Aena fountains + Airport Free Wifi Aena; airside F&B is adequate, not destination dining.
Aena lists drinking-water fountains under Other services for Sevilla — empty the bottle before classic 100 ml security, then refill airside (follow fountain pictograms near toilet / boarding corridors; travelers often cite the Gate 3 / Fashion Place corridor). Free Wi-Fi is SSID Airport Free Wifi Aena (Guest email or Aena Club; 15 minutes to verify, then unlimited). Airside F&B is a standard Aena mix (cafés, bars, fast food, newsstands, duty-free) — denser than a tiny regional strip, still queues when several leisure banks board together. Landside Arrivals / check-in retail covers a sealed bottle if you prefer not to hunt for a fountain.
Priority Pass restaurant credit — not a lounge. Use when Azahar is full, closed to your visit window, or you specifically want a sit-down meal.

Sole true lounge at SVQ — compact but useful after security; walk-in is pricey versus the EA bus budget, so Priority Pass is the usual path.
