Confirm terminal before you leave the metro. Line 2 only serves T2. Landing at T1 for a T2 flight (or the reverse) is a common miss — ride Line 10 one stop or take the free shuttle.

For SHA↔PVG, prefer Airport Link from T2 over Metro Line 2’s long cross-city slog. Board at Hongqiao T2; T1 passengers must reach T2 first.

HSR same day: walk T2 → Hongqiao Railway Station via hub wayfinding (follow rail / blue signs). Do not confuse Hongqiao Airport with Hongqiao Railway Station on ride-hail pins.

Priority Pass: match lounge to terminal + landside/airside. AVINEX is landside T1 (useless once you have cleared). V01/V03 need an international T1 flow. T2 PP rooms are domestic airside.

Mobile pay: Alipay / WeChat Pay dominate. Link a foreign card before arrival; do not plan on cash-only vendors.

Lounges with showers in old aggregator copy: live Priority Pass pages checked 11 Sep 2026 do not list showers for any of the six SHA PP rooms below — treat shower claims as unsourced until an airline page proves them.
