Terminal

Vietjet is T1. Almost everyone else is T3

Domestic is split. Vietjet check-in is Hall A, Terminal 1. Vietnam Airlines Group, Bamboo, and Vietravel use T3.

CAA Vietnam: from 13 January 2026 all Vietjet domestic flights check in at Hall A, T1. SGGP (22 Aug 2025) and Tuoi Tre: Bamboo, Pacific Airlines, VASCO, and Vietravel moved to T3 in mid-August 2025, and Vietnam Airlines Group (including Con Dao / Ca Mau / Rach Gia) completed the T3 shift. T2 is international. The buildings are not a short walk.

Timing

Be at T3 about 2 hours early

CAA Vietnam asks T3 passengers to arrive about 2 hours before departure and to use online or kiosk check-in.

If you guess the wrong domestic terminal, take the free landside shuttle (04:30–00:30, about every 15–20 minutes). T3 pick-up is pillars A17–A20 on level 1. T2 immigration still queues; do not copy HAN T3 facts here — SGN T3 is domestic only.

Food

Eat in the city if you can

SGN is about 7 km from District 1. Airside food is typical Vietnamese airport coffee and noodles — fine, not a reason to linger.

We are not inventing restaurant names or bottle prices. For a long layover, clearing immigration and going into town usually beats sitting in a 3-hour lounge cap.

Status

Match the lounge to the terminal on the boarding pass

Priority Pass now lists six SGN lounges, including Vietnam Airlines Lotus Premier in T3. A T3 visit is useless on a T2 boarding pass.

Live PP (7 Oct 2026): Lotus Premier T3, SH Premium T3, SENS T3, Rose T2, Jasmine T2, Le Saigonnais T1. Apricot is DragonPass / SASCO day-pass, not PP. Regular T3 Lotus (Gate 10) is still airline-status, not PP.

Read T1 vs T3 on the ticket, not "domestic." From 13 January 2026, CAA Vietnam says all Vietjet domestic flights check in at Hall A, Terminal 1. Vietnam Airlines Group, Bamboo Airways, and Vietravel Airlines operate domestic flights from T3 (mid-August 2025 moves; SGGP 22 August 2025: Vietjet is the only airline left at T1). Going to the wrong building costs more time than most security queues.
