A single-checkpoint Reno terminal with a real Escape Lounge, local food, and a $16 walk-up lot — undone by no Priority Pass, no CLEAR, a bus stop that is not at the curb, and an active MoreRNO rebuild.
An editorial 0–10 score. The overall is exactly the weighted sum of six traveler categories — not a Google rating and not a poll.

Most important tips
A compact traveler cheat sheet for timing, terminals, food, and disruption checks.
Contact-us FAQ: checkpoint operational at 04:00. Security page: typically around 4:00 a.m., 60–90 minutes before the first departure, hours subject to change. Terminal is 24/7; the sterile side is not.
RNO tells you it is seeing high volumes and to arrive two hours before departure. Ticket counters must open 90 minutes prior. PreCheck is real. CLEAR and Global Entry are officially not here. Airport PreCheck enrollment closed 30 Jun 2025 — enroll at Staples (10350 N McCarran) or Office Depot (165 Disc Drive, Sparks).
Clear once on the first floor, then the escalator drops you into High Mountain Marketplace with Concourse B one way and Concourse C the other.
Official international page pins Volaris on C. Official May 2026 first-floor ticketing strip: Alaska/Horizon, American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, Sun Country, United, Volaris. JSX is a different building. Third-party maps that still put Spirit or Allegiant on B/C are stale.
Trust renoairport.com/at-the-airport/dine/. Official hours follow first and last departure — at least one kitchen per concourse 30 minutes before the first departure through 30 minutes before the last.
Airside: Timber Ridge and McDonald’s in High Mountain Marketplace; Wild Garlic and Reno Draft House on B; Liberty Toast, Subway, and Tap & Pour on C; Vino Volo and Verdi Market at the top of the escalators. Landside: Mari Chuy’s by the ski statue plus Peet’s. 24/7 fallback is Just Baked Smart Bistro (landside flag alcove and C) plus vending.
RNO’s only passenger lounge sits airside between the concourses. Amex Platinum, Delta Reserve on Delta metal, or $45 / $60. It is not on the live Priority Pass USA list.
Operator hours: Mon–Wed and Sat–Sun 04:30–20:00; Thu–Fri 04:30–22:00. Children under 3 free. No showers on the operator page. Aggregator “The Club RNO” and “Priority Pass Lounge at Reno” pages are fiction. JSX’s FBO seating is not a public lounge.

Walk the FIDS at High Mountain Marketplace before you sit down. B and C are connected after security. Volaris is officially on C; everyone else floats. A third-party “Southwest = B, United = C” blog is a hint, not today’s gate.

Tip: Cross the lot to the rideshare shelter. Personal cars wait in the Free Waiting Lot, about four minutes back to Loop Road — stay with the car.

Official pet parks south of ticketing, north at Door D, and airside in the Marketplace. Mamava XL on B near B1 and C past Subway.
Building is officially 24/7. After the last departure the sterile side closes. Just Baked vending is the overnight food, not a sleep product.
One first-floor TSA, typically 04:00. PreCheck yes. Official: no CLEAR lanes and no GE kiosks or enrollment.
FAQ opens the checkpoint at 04:00; the security page says 60–90 minutes before the first departure. CAT may not demand a boarding pass at the lane, but the gate still will. Airport PreCheck enrollment closed 30 Jun 2025.
One portal feeds every main-terminal gate.
High-volume days still want the full two hours, and there is no CLEAR overflow.
High Mountain Marketplace between B and C. Amex Platinum, Delta Reserve on Delta metal, or $45 / $60. Not on Priority Pass.
Operator hours Mon–Wed and Sat–Sun 04:30–20:00; Thu–Fri 04:30–22:00. Pre-book 24 hours ahead for the $45 rate. Children under 3 free. No showers on the operator page.
A real kitchen and bar on a field with no airline club.
Sunday/Monday late banks have no lounge after 20:00.
Uber/Lyft/taxis/hotel shuttles pick up outside bag-claim Door D. RTC 12 is $2 but not at the curb, and the Villanova stop is on a construction detour.
Temporary RTC stop is 100 yards south of Terminal Way & Villanova by the SureStay driveway (alert still live 10 Sep 2026). Park & Walk at 2555 Aviation Way is $16 with no shuttle.
Cheapest official daily parking if you will walk 10–15 minutes.
A curb-to-downtown bus does not exist.
Timber Ridge, Wild Garlic, Mari Chuy’s, Vino Volo, and Peet’s are on the live list. Spirit and Allegiant food-blog pins are stale.
Official aim: one open restaurant per concourse from 30 minutes before the first departure to 30 minutes before the last. 24/7 fallback is Just Baked plus vending. Official pages do not map bottle fillers.
Local kitchens on both sides of the Marketplace.
A late inbound can land to vending.
Official amenities page says refill stations exist pre- and post-security; it does not pin gates, restrooms, or a map
Empty at TSA, then hunt the restroom clusters on High Mountain Marketplace, B, and C. Treat this as a live hunt, not a pin.
Public restrooms on the first-floor ticketing lobby and bag-claim hall — official pages do not publish a landside filler map
Use this if you have not cleared, you are meeting a Volaris arrival at Door D, or the sterile side has closed.
Official dining pins: Verdi Market at the top of the escalators on the Connector / 2nd floor; Peet’s at the same landing plus B and C
First sealed-bottle stop after you come up from TSA, before you commit to B or C.
Official dining pins between the concourses in High Mountain Marketplace
Marketplace fallback if Verdi is dark and you are already walking toward Escape Lounge.
Official dining pins: Mari Chuy’s in the terminal lobby near the ski statue; Peet’s in the same lobby
Landside bottle before you clear, or after a late inbound when airside kitchens have followed the last departure.
