Arrive 2 hours early; desks close 40 minutes before departure.

Check-in for both domestic and international flights closes 40 minutes before departure. Screening and boarding end 20–30 minutes before departure, depending on the airline. The airport recommends arriving at least 2 hours before your flight.

Go up to floor 2 for screening; floor 3 has overflow seating.

Pre-flight screening and boarding are on the 2nd floor, reached by lifts, escalators or stairs on either side of the entrance. International passengers go through screening, then customs and passport control. At busy times, use the extra waiting hall on the 3rd floor, opened in January 2025 with 240 more seats in each of the domestic and international zones.

Eat before passport control if you're flying abroad.

Airside on the domestic side (2nd floor) you'll find the Cafetino coffee shop, the Khamovniki beer restaurant and several regional food shops. Landside, ITALIANO (pizza and pasta) is on the ground floor. For international departures the airport lists Duty Free and vending machines, so eat before passport control.

Check the live board before leaving; restrictions hit three times in Sep–Oct 2026.

Perm is operating, but Rosaviatsia temporarily stopped arrivals and departures on 7 September, 7 October and 16 October 2026 for flight safety, the last time for more than four hours during a drone alert. Check the live board on aviaperm.ru and your airline's app before leaving, and allow slack for connections.
