Arrive two hours early — TSA opens at 4 a.m.

Official FAQ: show up no later than two hours before departure. TSA typically opens each checkpoint at 04:00 and stays open until that concourse’s last departure.

Official peaks are 05:00–07:00 and 16:00–18:00. Homepage wait boards on 9 Sep 2026 were showing Concourse A 10–15 min and B 5–10 min (they also flip to 0–5). Ticket counters are not 24/7 — United’s posted window is 04:00–18:30; American 03:00–19:30; Southwest opens 90 minutes before its first departure.

Transfers

Wrong hall means exit and walk around

Build OMA has split the building into two sterile terminals. Official Find Your Way: South A1–A10 vs North B11–B20. There is no airside hop.

If you enter the wrong door you leave security, walk the front-drive crosswalk, and reclear. Pickup/drop-off is Level 1 of the South Garage for both halls (arrivals A1–A4; departures B1–B4 / C1–C4). Ride-app and taxi are South Garage ground floor section D3.

Food

Eat airside — landside is a market, not a kitchen

Each concourse has one Plum Market bar-and-grill (Runway 18-36 on A, Runway 14R on B) plus Hudson. Official hours 04:00–21:00 or last departure.

Landside OMA Market is staffed 08:00–17:00 with 24-hour self-service on both sides. South landside Hudson is 04:00–00:00. Mill Coffee and Tea is promised for the existing south concourse in fall 2026 — confirm the board, it is not on the current hours page. No Starbucks / national food-court list on today’s official dining page.
