Main terminal, south holdroom — Gates 1–16. Mostly mainland and Canada. Southwest’s published gates are 1/3/5. The Jan 2025 $62M / 17,000 sq ft south renovation enclosed a former open-air walk and merged two holdrooms — stale “outdoor only” guides are wrong on this side.
Main terminal, north holdroom — Gates 17–39. Hawaiian neighbor-island plus leftover overseas widebodies. Premier Club North sits across from 17; Stinger Ray’s is at 23.

No terminal rail. The only on-airport train is the CONRAC tram to the 2019 consolidated rental-car building (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Sixt, Thrifty). Typical tram hours 23:00–05:00 closed.
Maui Bus Routes 35 (Haiku Islander, every 90 min 05:30–21:40) and 40 (Upcountry Islander, every 90 min 06:00–22:11) at Pick-Up Zone #3. County table still posted $2 one-way / $4 daily pass (effective 1 Mar 2024); 55+ / students / several IDs ride free. County published additional stop and fare-program tweaks for 1 Jul 2026 — confirm on mauicounty.gov the morning you ride. No transfers. One 22×14×9 bag.
Taxi (SpeediShuttle-managed) on the bag-claim curb. Official *guide* fares, not a guarantee: Kahului town $13, Wailuku $20, Kihei $33–55, Wailea $57, Lahaina $78, Kāʻanapali $87, Kapalua $105. Meter $3/mile.
