Works best when you are on the morning DFW or ORD departure and already have a mobile boarding pass (American prints those Available). Avoid if you still need to check a bag inside 30 minutes — official Security will not reopen that lane.

Official parking is the cheapest published move: first hour free, then $1 / $2 / $3 / $4, daily maximum $5 in the North, West, or East lots. Official ADA stalls sit in the North lot across from the terminal. Official Transportation / Parking page prints the heading and no extra tariff.

Eat in Manhattan or on the aircraft. Official Food & Beverage prints vending only, both sides of TSA, and leftover-prints that unwrapped food should not hit the checkpoint. Wikipedia leftover-prints space for a future restaurant. That restaurant is not on the live official menu.
