Kansas City International Airport security wait times

~15 min through security at MCI, from our airport directory. Early mornings and holiday weekends run longer.

Budget that on top of check-in or bag drop and the walk to your gate. For your exact leave-home time, enter your flight above: the plan uses the live wait when there is one.

Arrive 90-120 min early for domestic. Security averages 10-25 min overall and under 10 with PreCheck; peak banks (early morning Southwest waves and late afternoon) push it higher.
