Civil airport and national Class-I aviation port. IATA LYA, ICAO ZHLY. Operator since the 1 December 2023 licence is Luoyang Beijiao Airport Co., Ltd.
One terminal opened April 2010, 14,800 m², about a third of it for international flights. Runway 2,500 × 45 m, Category I ILS both ways, largest stated type A321.
2025 CAAC: 954,917 passengers (rank 112), 617.436 tonnes of cargo, 186,600 movements. The movement total is dominated by flight training, not airline flights.
Winter sheet 25 October 2026–27 March 2027: Urumqi Air UQ2641/UQ2642 Urumqi–Luoyang–Bangkok and back, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The only international service on the airport's own winter sheet (25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027) is Urumqi Air's through flight on days 2, 4 and 6, which mainland timetables treat as Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. UQ2641 leaves Urumqi at 07:25, reaches Luoyang at 11:05, and continues to Bangkok at 12:40, arriving 16:00. UQ2642 leaves Bangkok at 17:35, reaches Luoyang at 22:25, and continues to Urumqi at 23:55, arriving 03:50 the next day. Both legs are listed as a Boeing 737.

One passenger terminal, opened April 2010, 14,800 square metres, with about a third of that area for international flights. The apron is 62,000 square metres with nine stands: three jet bridges and six remote. The largest type the airport states it can handle is an Airbus A321.
The runway is 2,500 by 45 metres, flight area 4D, with Category I ILS in both directions. The 2012 CAAC aerodrome plate puts the runway-centre reference point at 34°44′29″N 112°23′16″E, 9 km from Wangcheng Square on a true bearing of 330°, elevation 264.5 m (868 ft) on the Luoyang datum. That plate is not a current pavement or rescue category.
China Eastern's August 2022 airport page, which is still the page on its site, puts the domestic lounge on level 3 to the left of gate 3, the international lounge on level 3 to the left of the international gate, and a separate VIP and CIP room in its own building east of domestic departures. The domestic mother-and-baby room is on level 3, to the right of the first-class lounge beside gate 3.
The same China Eastern page puts its premium check-in at domestic counter 3, economy at counters 4, 5 and 6, no-bag at counter 7, and international check-in at counters 1 and 2, opening two hours before an international departure. Domestic baggage enquiry is at carousels 1 and 2; international is carousel 1. That page is from 2022.
The airport says the airfield can operate 24 hours and that more than 350 days a year are flyable. Neither figure is a published passenger-terminal door time.
Car parking on the operator's overview is 8,000 square metres. No public tariff was found.

There is no metro station at the terminal. Luoyang's metro does not come out here. City buses do. The municipal timetable published 10 May 2024 names three routes at 飞机场候机楼.
Route 1 runs from the terminal to Luoyang Longmen high-speed station, 06:00–21:50 from the airport and 07:12–23:07 from the station, fare 1.5 yuan.
Route 98 runs from the terminal to Wangcheng Square, 06:00–21:55 from the airport. The 10 May 2024 table has the return at 06:47–22:42, with buses after 21:17 short-turning to Erqiao Road. A 15 October 2025 local listing stops the return at 21:17 and prices the ride at 1 yuan. The fare was not on the lines extracted from the municipal table.
Route 27's city end, Penglai Road at Wuhan South Road east, is 05:30–19:30 on that municipal table. The 15 October 2025 listing puts the terminal end at 06:30–20:30 and the fare at 1 yuan.
Route 83 on the same municipal table ends at Airport Road and Hengshan Road. It is not one of the routes that stop at the terminal.
Taxis pick up outside arrivals. A 23 March 2023 Luoyang listing of the city tariff is 6 yuan for the first 2 km, then 1.5 yuan per km, plus 2 yuan per trip from 22:00 to 06:00. No newer official tariff and no published ride time were found. Pay the meter.

One airline lounge is located precisely enough to list: China Eastern's domestic room on level 3, left of gate 3. The August 2022 page also names an international room and a separate CIP building. Hours, a walk-up price, and showers were not published as facts of this building. The amenity checklist under that page is the same checklist China Eastern prints for other airports, so it is not treated as a Luoyang inventory.
No Priority Pass, LoungeKey, or DragonPass lounge was verified for LYA. A DragonPass restaurant-style listing was not clear enough to store.
No drinking-water fountain or bottle price was verified. Bring water.
Food and retail inside the terminal are not on the operator's overview. Do not count on a long sit-down option.
The airport's own cargo figure of 5,000 tonnes is a capacity claim. In 2025 the airport handled 617.436 tonnes.

Those clocks are the winter image posted by the airport on 2 November 2026. A January 2026 report used earlier Bangkok times. Read the sheet, then confirm on 0379-62328666. The image's note about the check-in cutoff was not legible.
China Eastern's own cutoff table lists Luoyang Beijiao domestic check-in closing 30 minutes before departure and the gate closing 15 minutes before. The international column on that row is blank. For China Eastern, a boarding pass printed at home still has to be confirmed at the Luoyang counter before security, and online check-in runs from 48 hours down to 45 minutes before departure.
Domestic flying on the same sheet is a one-terminal operation: China Eastern to Kunming, Suparna Airlines to Shanghai Pudong and Hami, China Southern to Shenzhen and Guangzhou, Beibu Gulf to Nanning, Sanya and Dalian, Qingdao Airlines to Chongqing and Shenyang, Jiangxi Air to Harbin and Nanchang, Loong Air to Harbin and Huizhou, Chengdu Airlines to Guiyang and Shenyang, Tianjin Airlines toward Chifeng and Hailar, and Urumqi Air to Fuzhou and Urumqi. Two rows that cannot both be right are called out below.
Chengdu Airlines EU2441 and EU2442 read as one tag on days 1, 3, 5 and 7: Shenyang 09:00–11:40 Luoyang, Luoyang 12:40–15:00 Guiyang, and back Guiyang 16:45–18:55 Luoyang, Luoyang 19:40–22:00 Shenyang, Airbus A320.
Beibu Gulf's Haikou and Zhuhai rows both leave at 13:10 on days 2, 4 and 6 under a number that reads GX8820. Those cannot be two aircraft. Nanning, Sanya and Dalian were readable: GX8826 Luoyang–Nanning 22:50–01:10+1 on days 1, 3, 5 and 7; GX8818 Luoyang–Nanning 22:30–00:50+1 on days 2, 4 and 6; GX8976 Luoyang–Sanya 15:00–18:00 on days 1, 3, 5 and 7; GX8817 Luoyang–Dalian 17:00–18:50 on days 2, 4 and 6.
Tianjin Airlines prints Luoyang–Chifeng 17:15–19:05 and Luoyang–Hailar 17:15–21:45, both on days 2, 4 and 6, both under a number that reads GS6664, both an Embraer 190. Only one of those departures can be that flight.
Suparna uses Y87511 and Y87512 on both the Shanghai Pudong pair and the Hami pair, same days. The clocks as printed: Pudong–Luoyang Y87511 10:35–12:50, Luoyang–Pudong Y87512 21:45–23:45, Boeing 737; Luoyang–Hami Y87511 13:35–17:15, Hami–Luoyang Y87512 18:00–21:00, Boeing 737-800.
