Desks close 40 minutes before departure

The airport says check-in usually opens about 3 hours out and ends 40 minutes before departure, and it asks you to be there 2–3 hours ahead.

That window is a recommendation. The airline sets the exact open time, and it is printed on the ticket.

One terminal

Domestic and international split after security

There is one passenger terminal. Passport control for both domestic and international departures is on floor 3, and the two business lounges are on floor 4.

A VIP terminal in a separate building is a private channel at 36,000 RUB one way, not a walk-up lounge.

Food

Eat on floor 3 before you pay for a lounge

Volga-Volga, a marketplace restaurant, is on floor 3 in domestic departures. The operator has not published a drinking-fountain map or a bottle price.

Heinemann Duty Free is on floor 3 in international departures. Alcohol in the business lounges is extra.

Airspace stops have been closing the field for hours

On 23 September 2026 a Kover restriction stopped takeoffs and landings from 04:06 to 08:09. A similar stop was reported the day before.

The restriction was lifted. Check the live board the morning you fly; these stops are not a construction closure.

Civilian international airport 35 km north of Samara, run by Airports of Regions. Presidential decree No. 246 of 31 May 2019 gave it the name of Sergei Korolev; the operator still titles the site Kurumoch.
2025: 3.57 million passengers, of which 2.75 million domestic (77%) and 822,000 international (+7%). Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Sochi led; Hurghada, Sharjah, and Antalya led international.
