Timing

Domestic dies 40 minutes before STD

Airport leftover from 2 May 2018: stop check-in 40 minutes before STD and stop boarding 15 minutes before. China Southern leftover still prints 40. Spring leftover on the T3 move notice prints 45. China Eastern leftover on the T3 card prints 30 for check-in / 40 for bags / 15 for boarding.

Use 40 unless your metal is on a shorter airline card you have actually read. Do not copy that 40-minute clock onto Hong Kong / Dubai — those flights check in at T2 and still do customs / immigration / quarantine.

Terminals

Read the ticket: T3 is not international

China Eastern leftover: every domestic flight is T3. International leftover is T2. Nine Air leftover domestic counters T3 52–54; international leftover T2 1–3. Spring leftover moved off T2 onto T3 39–41.

T1 is not a live check-in hall. Wikipedia leftover T1-international / T2-closed is the 2016 renovation story, overwritten on 8 Feb 2018. T4 is not flying.

Food

Eat 宁夏小吃, not the Gate 12 CIP

DragonPass leftover names 宁夏小吃 on the mezzanine opposite Gate 11 after T3 security (left, up the stairs), plus 天祈楼 on the same mezzanine, 弄堂小笼包 at Gate 11, 老木瓜 at Gate 13, Burger King at Gate 16, and 非遗寻味轩 opposite Gate 21.

Priority Pass inc2 leftover at Gate 12 is soft drinks on a 2-hour stay. Buy the bowl before you sit.

Live passenger campus on 19 Sep 2026 is T3 for every domestic flight plus T2 for international and HMT. T3 opened 27 Dec 2016. T2 reopened as the international hall on 8 Feb 2018; the original T1 international hall stopped that day. Wikipedia leftover calling T1 the live international hall and T2 'closed for renovation' is leftover-stale.
One live 4E runway 03/21, 3,600 × 45 m. English Wikipedia's 3,200 m table is leftover-wrong. Night asphalt overlay leftover 23:00–09:00 from 22 May 2026, target October 2026 — the field is still flying. T4 and the planned second runway are not live.
CAAC calendar 2025: 9,860,514 passengers (national #42, +9.8%), 75,327 movements (#48, +7.2%), 49,713.7 t cargo (#44, +8.2%). Huaon leftover 986.05 万人次 matches that rounding band.
