There is no sterile airside walk. The halls sit about 1 km apart; the free curb shuttle is the transfer.
Meilan Railway Station is under the T1 GTC, not T2. Do not taxi to Dayingshan or to the closed east international hall.
Liquids cannot walk the checkpoint. Holdroom RO fountains (hot + ambient) are the free refill; T2 7-Eleven is the reliable paid bottle.
T2 4F east/west free overnight rest leftover 21:00–08:00 (94 seats after the 2026 upgrade). T1 nursing rooms at Door 1 McDonald's and Gate 20 leftover-print as closed for construction.
Leisure arrivals use the Hainan 30-day visa-free. Same-airport under-24-hour third-country connections can skip immigration. 240-hour TWOV is a third product.
Island-wide customs closure from 18 Dec 2025 is live and is not a people-document change — mainland domestic passengers do not need extra papers. Confirm the live NIA country list before you fly.

The T1 GTC walk is under five minutes.
T2 passengers must shuttle first. There is no metro Line 2 to this airport.
Do not spend a pass on the landside Easyflying or Business Lounge 4 pins if you can reach airside.
hak11 is T2 4F east after passport control. Fortune Wings hak7 is T2 Gate 47. CZ Skypearl is the Gate 32 lift — Plaza Premium leftover-lists that same room.
Eight live PP pins is dense for a 27-million field.
T1 First Class leftover-prints passport control on a domestic-only hall.
Hainan 30-day visa-free, 240-hour TWOV, and 24-hour skip-immigration are three different gates.
Skip-immigration needs a same-airport under-24-hour third-country ticket. 30-day visa-free keeps you inside Hainan. TWOV uses the 57-country / 65-port map. 封关 did not change those passport rules.
HAK is on the Nov 2025 skip-immigration add-on ten.
A domestic connection to PEK/PVG is not skip-immigration.
