Three hours

CJIA asks for 3 hours before an international flight

That covers check-in, security, and departure immigration. The departure tax is already in the fare.

The FAQ states GYD 6,000 / USD 30, included in the ticket. Carry-on liquids are limited to 100 ml containers.

Terminal 2 is not open

You still use the current terminal. DPI says the 150,000 sq ft Terminal 2 is expected in 2028.

Arrivals are on the ground floor and departures are upstairs. The food court is on the second floor, above the departures lounge.

Free E/D form

File the immigration form before you fly

Use the Guyana Police Force portal at ed.gpf.gov.gy. CJIA says you can file up to 30 days ahead. The official form is free.

Paid third-party sites copy the same form. British visitors are normally stamped for 30 days, not 90.

Buy a bottle

No published water fountain

Buy a sealed bottle at the second-floor food court. The airport does not publish a refill station or a bottle price.
