Passenger Lounge

Terminal 1Domestic airside

The operator’s lounge page describes one room at Level 0, after security, near the boarding area: light meals, beverages, Wi-Fi, charging, and freshen-up facilities. Entry is by airline membership, a partner program, or pay-per-use. Hours, price, shower, and a separate brand name are not published on that page. Travel Food Services holds the lounge concession from a March 2024 award; treat the 2024 promise of a cocktail bar and spa as a plan, not as something the live page confirms.

Access: Airline memberships or partner programs · Day pass

Amenities: Light meals · Beverages · Wi-Fi · Charging points · Freshen-up facilities

Best for: Domestic departure wait · A quiet seat with power

From Lounges, Food & Amenities

One published lounge. Passenger Lounge, Terminal 1, domestic airside, Level 0 near the boarding area. Access is airline membership, a partner program, or pay-per-use. Light meals, beverages, Wi-Fi, charging, freshen-up facilities. No published hours, entry price, or shower. Verdict: depends — useful if your membership or the day rate is cheap; there is no second lounge to compare it with.
Do not pack for the 6 March 2024 Travel Food Services announcement. That award described restaurants, cafes, bars, a cocktail bar, and a spa. The live food directory and the live lounge page are narrower. Order from what is signed today.
Food directory on the operator site (checked 28 September 2026): Bite & Board, Chai Point, Costa, KFC, and Subway on the domestic departure pier; Flying Bites on the forecourt; Nourish in the domestic check-in hall; Smoor and UFM in the common arrival hall.
Retail: Travel Accessories (newspapers, bottled water, snacks) at the domestic departure bus gate and pier; sweets and savouries on the domestic departure pier; toys and perfume/cosmetics signed for the domestic arrival hall.
Airlines: IndiGo was the first commercial operator, with the opening arrival from Lucknow on the morning of 15 June 2026. Akasa Air is the other carrier the CEO counts as operating. On 20 September 2026 she said the network was fifteen destinations and about thirty-five flights a day on average, up from five destinations in June. Fortune India put June traffic at about 25,000 passengers and July at about 77,000 in the question; those are the interviewer’s figures, not a statistics release. The timetable is still being built — confirm the city on the airline’s DXN search, not on a June launch poster.
Cargo is a separate operation. The operator says Air India SATS (AISATS) handles a cargo terminal with an initial capacity of 200,000 metric tons a year and a plan to scale toward 1.5 million tonnes. That is not a passenger amenity.
