Detroit Metro Airport security wait times

~15 min through security at DTW, from our airport directory. Early mornings and holiday weekends run longer.

Budget that on top of check-in or bag drop and the walk to your gate. For your exact leave-home time, enter your flight above: the plan uses the live wait when there is one.

Check metroairport.com waits. The airport posts live security times; they are often under 20 minutes.
