International long-haul from DLA needs you at the desk well before the airline close. Air France from Douala is H-90, not H-120.
Air France's official check-in-close list puts Douala in the 90-minute group (Abidjan and Yaoundé are 120). Boarding typically closes 20 minutes before departure. ADC-adjacent copy still says "two hours / desks may close 60 minutes" — that is not the AF CDG rule. Wouri traffic and immigration queues eat the first hour. Budget a full 3 hours with bags for CDG, BRU and IST.
One live passenger terminal. The 2027–2029 rebuild is not open yet. Airside paving work is underway.
ADC and the RAP-AID APD describe a single aérogare passagers with piers A and B in the future plan. Lot 2 (terminal rebuild, ~25,000 m² extension plus ~25,000 m² refurb including VIP salons) is not live — AMI closed 15 July 2026, works February 2027. Lot 1 CHEC airside paving is live from 15 June 2026. Do not hunt Terminal 2/3/4.
ADC does not publish refill fountains. Landside/airside cafés, duty-free and the lounges are the live water options.
ADC does not list public drinking fountains. Bars, restaurants and duty-free in the public hall and the international departure area sell sealed water; no published XAF bottle tariff — pay at the till. Lounge water is complimentary once you are in Air France Lounge, Club Market or the ADC VIP salon.
Pre-enrol on evisacam.cm, fly in with the QR authorisation, then finish biometrics and the sticker at DLA. The email is not the visa.
Official portal evisacam.cm only. Embassy of Cameroon in Egypt tariff (paid online, non-refundable): ordinary short stay 100,000 XAF (72 h); express short stay 150,000 XAF (24 h); long stay 200,000 XAF; transit under five days free. Print the QR visa authorisation. The sticker is affixed at the airport border post. FCDO: no visa on arrival at Douala or Yaoundé. Passport 6 months. Yellow-fever certificate required for travellers aged 1 year or over (IHR / TravelHealthPro / CDC).
