Timing

Do not ride Line 3 to “the airport” and expect a flight

Since 23 Dec 2025 every scheduled passenger flight is in T3. The station named Jiangbei Airport Terminal 2 is a rail stop, not your terminal.

If you land at the T2 metro station, ride Line 10 one stop to 江北机场T3航站楼站 or the free landside shuttle. Official leftover-prints the shuttle T3 05:00–24:00, about 15–23 minutes.

Terminals

Check-in at T3A; J/K/L/M means the T3B train

T3A L4 and T3A B1 (Line 10 exit) both leftover-print combined check-in and security. T3B has no public check-in.

Chongqing gov 23 Dec 2025 leftover-prints Sichuan Airlines at island 3D and China Express / Donghai / Hunan Airlines at 3J. Spring and 9 Air leftover-print as excluded from the B1 combined desk. International stays T3A.

Food

Plaza Premium’s Ramen set is the PP meal, not a buffet guess

Each Plaza Premium visit leftover-prints one complimentary Ramen set (breakfast/lunch/dinner); à la carte and extra drinks are paid.

Landside 3C needs a same-day boarding pass. Airside domestic is Pier E opposite E09; airside international is Pier H near H02–H04. Official service promise leftover-prints international chain restaurants as 同城同质同价.

Priority Pass is unusually usable here — if you are in the right pier

Live PP 18 Sep 2026 lists three Plaza Premium rooms plus two China Southern domestic lounges at Corridor G, 04:40 until the last CZ flight.

All scheduled passenger flights use the T3 complex since 23 Dec 2025. T1 is closed to flights. T2 is not permanently shut — Chongqing Airport Group leftover-prints a later T1/T2 joint reuse after a process update, with no 2026 reopening date.
CAAC 2025: 50,094,770 passengers (national #9, first year over 50 million), 335,919 movements, 548,485.3 t cargo. T3B design leftover-prints 80 million passengers / 1.2 million t cargo / 580,000 movements.
T3A is check-in, security, bag claim and all international. T3B is a domestic satellite: gates J / K / L / M ride the airside APM after T3A security. Wikipedia leftover “T2 still handles domestic” is false.
