Arrive early

Two hours for an international departure

The airport asks for check-in to start two hours before an international flight and 90 minutes before a domestic one. The FAQ also says to be there 120 minutes before the flight.

No desk-close or gate-close minute is printed. Do not assume a 40-minute cutoff from another Georgian airport.

One building

One carousel, and the lounge is on the right

Arrivals publishes a single baggage carousel. The lounge pages put Primeclass on the right after the controls, on the first floor or level 2 depending on the source.

2025 traffic is above the 1.2 million line

United Airports of Georgia says the 2021 works allowed up to 1.2 million passengers a year. The Civil Aviation Agency table prints 1,230,200 for 2025.

One passenger terminal. Arrivals has one baggage carousel.
AIP runway 12/30 is 2,500 × 45 m. Instrument approach is published for runway 12 only.
AIP places the field 5 km southwest of Batumi. The contact page still prints 2 km.
Municipal bus 10 stops in front of the terminal. The airport page still says 0.30 GEL; from 4 February 2026 the city fare is 0.70 GEL.
Primeclass Lounge is the only lounge. Cash entry is €40 including VAT.
