Timing

Arrive three hours before an international departure

Operator English copy says typically at least 2–3 hours for check-in, screening and boarding; treat 3 hours as the safe international number on the night Moscow/Istanbul bank.

Dedicated leftover Russian check-in pages say desks close 40 minutes before international and 20 minutes before domestic — confirm on your airline, not those leftover numbers.

Terminal

Follow the live west wing, not leftover FRU maps

One public hall. Since 14 May 2026 you check in and clear into the new west wing; the main doors reopened 12 July 2026 while the older interior stays on the rebuild.

There is no airside walk to a second scheduled terminal. VIP is a paid separate product, not T2.

Food

Buy water after passport control

Empty the landside bottle at X-ray. The sealed airside option is Duty Free in the sterile zone; landside cafes exist but that bottle dies at screening.

Operator Duty Free lists perfume, alcohol and chocolate and takes Mir cards plus ruble, dollar and euro. No published bottle tariff and no official drinking-fountain listing this pass.

Status

BSZ on the boarding pass, FRU in leftover apps

The airport’s IATA code is BSZ. Priority Pass still files the lounge under a leftover FRU URL; the live PP heading is Manas International (BSZ).

Public leftover BSH/MNS/MAN codes were already taken — 24.kg 11 Aug 2025. Match the code on the bag tag, not a 2024 screenshot.

Live IATA is BSZ from 9 August 2025 (CAA / IATA Resolution 763). Leftover FRU is the Soviet Frunze code — still on some lounge URLs and the still-missing list. ICAO UCFM. Do not invent a /airports/fru page as current.
3.3 million passengers in 2024 at Manas (57.7% of 5.8 million across Airports of Kyrgyzstan JSC). Osh took 2.4 million. Do not paste leftover Wikipedia 3,586,337 (2017) or leftover 4.1 million as a year.
One passenger terminal. West wing (check-in, sterile zone, arrivals) opened 14 May 2026; main entrance reopened 12 July 2026. Older interior is still under reconstruction. Covered skywalk is NOT live. Do not treat leftover T2 as a second public hall.
Single runway 07/25, 4,204 × 55 m concrete; ILS CAT II. Elevation 637 m / 2,090 ft. ~25 km north-northwest of Bishkek (AIP/Wikipedia). Operator JSC Airports of Kyrgyzstan (ОАО «Аэропорты Кыргызстана»). Official site airport.kg is a JS shell.
