Compact city-side terminal; Arctic weather and a single runway are the delay mode — pad onward connections.

BOO’s walking times are short and the city is unusually close, so the schedule risk is not “finding the gate” — it is Bodø peninsula weather and military/civil traffic on a lone 07/25 runway, plus Widerøe feeder banks that bunch. Pad same-day OSL/BGO/TRD connections even when the landside hall looks quiet. The main entrance opens 1–2 hours before the first departure and closes about an hour after the last arrival; overnight stays inside the terminal are not allowed (Avinor contact page).

Check-in and bag drop sit landside in the single terminal. After security, follow domestic vs international signage before you settle into Herfra or Hunter Bar. Nordea ATMs: first floor left of the kiosk; immediately after security; and by Brygghuset in the departures hall (GBP listed as “GPR” on Avinor’s bank page, plus EUR/USD/TRY/SEK/PLN/THB). The new SSP meeting room is landside before security (25–30 seats with catering) — useful for work, not a flyer lounge. Re-check screens; gate and bus-gate calls still move when weather slows the field.

Herfra, Hunter Bar, Narvesen, and Tax Free; hours follow flights, not a 24/7 mall.

Hours follow the flight programme — expect a thinner offer on sparse winter banks than on summer leisure peaks. Bodø harbour food still wins if your timetable allows.

Zero lounges; walk / bus 1–4 / taxi are the defaults; replacement airport is planned 2029/2030.

There is no Priority Pass / LoungeKey / walk-up passenger lounge on current Avinor Bodø shopping or services pages — only the SSP landside meeting room. For town, walk ~10–15 minutes via Hernesveien, take city bus **1** or **4** (every ~10 minutes peak / ~15 minutes off-peak on weekdays; thinner weekends), or use the taxi rank (~5 minutes). Avinor’s new-airport project (construction from May 2024; planned 2029/2030, ~1 km south) does not change today’s terminal operations — treat it as future context, not a current terminal move.
