Devanahalli sits ~35–40 km north of central Bengaluru. Off-peak taxis can do ~45–60 minutes; peak Hebbal / ORR crush routinely stretches past 90–120 minutes. Domestic banks want you at check-in ~90 minutes early; long-haul international banks want a full ~3 hours. Same-day T2→T1 connections need immigration/bag claim (when applicable), the free landside shuttle, and a full re-security — treat 2.5–3+ hours as the realistic floor on separate tickets.
