Non-Schengen rules apply on almost every international trip — arrive earlier than a typical EU domestic hop.

Departing internationals clear passport control after the central security hall in Terminal 2. Peak morning Air Serbia banks and Sunday leisure returns can stack both X-ray and passport lines. Buy the €5 Fast Lane voucher at the information desk if the hall looks heavy.

Compact compared with mega-hubs, but wrong check-in island still costs you a long walk with bags.

Terminals share a hallway and a central security filter above ticketing, but airline desks and some gate walks still cluster by side. Confirm your check-in island and gate letter (A vs C) on the live boards before you hike.

Adequate airside fuel; Belgrade’s centre is ~25–40 minutes away.

Expect coffee, bakery, casual Serbian plates, and travel retail rather than a destination food court. On a 4+ hour connection, the free city bus or a voucher taxi into Belgrade is often better value than camping airside.

Official zone vouchers kill the classic Belgrade airport taxi scam — ignore anyone who approaches you inside the terminal.

Four fixed-fare e-kiosks (three in baggage reclaim, one in the meeters’ hall) print a zone price for up to four passengers. Take the printed voucher to the official arrivals rank. Zone 2 covering most of the historic centre is commonly 3,500 RSD — read the live kiosk board; prices revise.
