The Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol opened on 17 September 2026 as Amex’s first Centurion Lounge at AMS and one of the first full Centurion Lounge brands on continental Europe.

It sits on the second level between Concourses E and F in Departures 3, in the non-Schengen / international departures zone. Official hours are 06:00–21:30 daily. The footprint is about 6,000 square feet with floor-to-ceiling windows, mixed seating (armchairs, booths, group tables), a phone nook (not a fully private room), local art with QR-code captions, a Blue Roast Coffee Bar with a dedicated barista, a rotating Dutch/regional buffet, and a full bar including locally inspired cocktails.

Access follows the global Centurion Lounge rules: eligible Platinum, Centurion, or Business Platinum card plus same-day boarding pass within three hours of departure (five hours on a qualifying connection), plus ID. Not Priority Pass and not usable for Schengen-only gate banks. Showers are not offered at this location (smaller footprint vs larger US Centurion Lounges). Capacity can mean waitlisting via the Amex app.

Verdict is worth-it for eligible cardholders on non-Schengen departures: it is the only global card-network soft lounge of this class at AMS. Useless if your flight is Schengen-only or you lack an eligible Amex product.
