Lounges at Auckland Airport

Temporary overflow lounge opened 12 Dec 2025 (~200 seats) while the main Koru International room is rebuilt. Full buffet, barista, and bar, but no bathrooms or showers inside — use nearby Level 1/2 terminal facilities. Not Priority Pass and not a walk-up product.

Priority Pass “Eat” restaurant credit venue — not a soft lounge. Useful as a backup if Strata turns you away for capacity, or if you prefer a bakery/café meal with PP credit instead of lounge seating.

Rebuilt Qantas International Lounge opened for the Dec 2025 holiday peak with a ~60% larger footprint, capacity for more than 370 guests, charging at ~70% of seats, and 15 shower suites. Entitlement only — not Priority Pass. Strongest oneworld soft product at AKL while Air NZ Koru works continue.

AKL’s only Priority Pass soft lounge and the airport-operated pay lounge for any departing international passenger. Hot/cold food from an onsite kitchen, bar, showers with towels, kids play area, and workstations. Aggregate PP rating sits around the mid-4s/5. Capacity pressure is real in morning and evening banks — pre-book when paying, and have a backup plan if your PP visit is space-restricted.
