Stagecoach 727 electric buses run airport ↔ city from ~£5; Dyce station still needs a short taxi.

Aberdeen Airport sits in Dyce with no station under the terminal. Official Jet Bus 727 (Stagecoach) leaves Union Square Bus Station stance 3 for airport stance 1 directly outside the terminal, and returns the same way. Airport page: city connection from about 30 minutes, daytime every ~15 minutes, early/late journeys published from Union Square 02:20–23:30 and airport 02:50–24:20 (timetable varies by day — use the Stagecoach PDF/app). Single tickets from £5; buy in the Stagecoach app, online, or contactless/cash on board. Stops also serve Adelphi (Union Street), Marischal College / Bon-Accord area, Bucksburn, with Portlethen (daily) and Stonehaven (Mon–Fri) extensions. Official taxis rank left outside arrivals — airport guidance quotes about £20–£25 to the city centre and about £12 / 5–10 minutes to Dyce station. ABZ has not moved to the CT / 2-litre leave-in-bag regime used at some larger UK airports. The airport Security page is explicit: keep every liquid at or under 100 ml, those bottles may stay in the cabin bag without a clear plastics bag, and there is no published cap on how many 100 ml containers you carry — still expect laptop/tablet trays unless staff say otherwise on the day. Destination airports (and UK airports without the same local rule) may reinstate the bag on the way home, so pack for the stricter end of the trip. Priority Security is sold to all passengers as a dedicated lane from £7.00 via the airport booking flow (also bundled with some Priority Parking products). Main terminal opens 03:30 or two hours before the first departure and closes after the last arrival — overnight stays in the terminal are not allowed.

After security, walk through the departure lounge to the Gate 1 area and take the lift (or stairs) to the first floor. Northern Lights Executive Lounge is the multi-use paid / Priority Pass room with runway views: airport hours Mon–Wed 04:00–19:00, Thu–Fri 04:00–18:30, Sat 04:00–17:30, Sun 04:00–19:00; max stay typically 3 hours on Priority Pass. Walk-up adults £37 / pre-book £36 / children 4–17 £18 / under-3 free (Afternoon Tea package listed around £45.70–£47.50 — trust the live booking cart). The British Airways Lounge on the same floor is closed for refurbishment 1 June–30 September 2026; BA First/Club and oneworld Emerald/Sapphire guests are directed to Northern Lights, with a dining credit voucher if the lounge cannot take them at peaks. When BA reopens, airport hours are Mon–Fri from 05:00 and Sat–Sun from 05:30 until the last BA departure.

Use Long Stay’s free 1-hour window + shuttle if you want to avoid the £7 kerb fee.

Express Drop Off sits on the upper forecourt outside the main terminal: £7.00 for up to 15 minutes, then £1.00 per minute, with a £50 flat charge after 30 minutes (airport tariff table). Blue Badge holders get a free drop-off/pick-up window in Short Stay — press the barrier buzzer and show the badge; not for hire-and-reward vehicles. To avoid the kerb fee, the airport’s free Long Stay pick-up/drop-off allows up to 1 hour free with the on-demand shuttle to the terminal (confirm the live barrier board — some secondary reports still quote a shorter free window). Short Stay opposite the terminal is the paid alternative if you need more than 15 minutes beside the building.
