NAP · Southern Italy’s busiest airport: 13,271,522 passengers in 2025, a compact Terminal 1, €5 Alibus and Comune fixed-fare taxis — tempered by classic 100 ml security, a single lounge that closes at 21:00, no metro yet, and a full November 2026 runway closure.
QSR · Salerno Costa d'Amalfi and Cilento Airport is the closest airport to the Amalfi Coast, Paestum and Cilento, southeast of Salerno, and GESAC (operator of Naples Airport) runs it. Scheduled flights restarted in July 2024, and it handled 380,606 passengers in 2025 (+112.5%). While Naples is closed from 1 to 30 November 2026, Salerno takes some of its flights, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, Casablanca, Dubai and Sharm el-Sheikh, and also uses its new General Aviation Terminal. Facilities are basic: one café in the check-in area, free Wi-Fi, no lounge, and the terminal is closed from 22:30 to 05:00.
