Halifax International Airport Authority’s own page is unambiguous: beginning 1 October 2025 the Maple Leaf Lounge is closed for about 18 months — its first full transformation in 30 years — with a targeted return in early 2027. The rebuild is promised to nearly double the floor area, add coastal Nova Scotia design, and install a full-service bar. Until then there is no airside lounge product at YHZ. Priority Pass’s Canada index lists Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Québec, Toronto, Vancouver, and Winnipeg — not Halifax. Stale Chase Sapphire Reserve / aggregator pins that still say “near Gate 20” describe the boarded-up room. This lounge was never on the U.S. preclearance side.
